Set in the agricultural landscape of northern New Mexico, Brazos View Farms takes part in a film following several local businesses working together to strengthen the region’s food system.
Produced by Rad5 Media in partnership with the State of New Mexico and the Healthy Food Financing Fund, the film is part of a three-part testimonial series exploring the retail, value-chain, and institutional networks that help feed communities across the state.
For this project, our team documented Brazos View’s role as a regional distribution hub and the businesses connected through it, including farmer Joysree Aubrey’s work in Los Ojos. Aerial footage established the farm’s rural setting, while a two-day production captured the preparation, customer interactions, and community activity surrounding the farm stand’s opening day.
The film traces the site’s transformation from a hay field into a food-production hub equipped with grant-funded hoop houses and cold storage. Through the experiences of the businesses involved, it shows how shared distribution networks can expand market access for micro-farmers, support local producers, and address supply-chain challenges across rural New Mexico.
