Funded through House Bill 11 during the 2021 Legislative Session, the LEDA Recovery Grants provide critical financial assistance to New Mexico small businesses impacted by the pandemic. With $200 million allocated, these grants are tied to job creation and reimburse rent, lease, or mortgage payments, prioritizing businesses that faced significant economic challenges.
Through the LEDA program, Spiritus is leveraging grant funding to fuel their mission of transforming carbon capture technology while contributing to economic growth in New Mexico. This partnership underscores the importance of state-supported initiatives in fostering innovation and creating jobs, particularly in industries addressing global challenges like climate change.
